Custom Patio, River Rock Beds, and Fresh Plantings Done Right

A lot of backyards in newer neighborhoods start the same way - just grass and empty space right up against the house. No definition, no place to sit, nothing that makes it feel like yours. That's exactly what we were working with here, and it's one of the most common calls we get.

We came in and built it out from scratch. The patio went in first - clean pavers with a dark border detail that frames it nicely against the house. From there we cut in fresh flower beds along the fence line, filled them with river rock, and planted a mix of shrubs and evergreens that will keep growing in and filling out over time. The straw you see laid down is covering freshly seeded lawn areas - new grass coming in around the patio and along the side of the house.

The front got attention too. A sweeping bed with fresh black mulch, bold plantings, and a clean white stone border gives the whole front of the house a polished look without being overdone. The edging is crisp and the plants are layered well - taller shrubs anchoring the corners, lower color plants filling the middle. That kind of planning is what keeps a bed looking good season after season.

We also put in a couple of standalone island beds in the backyard - river rock, edging, and young plantings centered around a small ornamental tree. It breaks up the open lawn in a way that adds character without making upkeep harder. The whole goal with our landscaping services is to build something that looks sharp now and stays manageable long-term. That's what this yard got.
